Scaler: A Fun Procedural Animation by Pasha Ho

Published Nov 7, 2025

Istanbul-based CG artist Pasha Ho explores the hypnotic side of code and motion in Scaler, an oddly satisfying procedural animation born from his experiments with Python and Cinema 4D.

Inspired by Matt Taylor’s concept of recursive polygon splitting, Pasha set out to make solid geometry behave like something fluid, without relying on keyframes, cloners or any special plugins. Every movement in this short animation is driven entirely by Python logic, producing a mesmerizing illusion of shifting shapes that morph in perfect synchrony.

You can watch Scaler below and explore more of Pasha Ho’s creative work on Behance and Instagram.
