Moka: A Modular Dog Figure by Emanuele Marani

Published Mar 10, 2025

We have featured the work of Emanuele Marani a few times here on the grid, and he has grabbed our attention once again with his first foray into product design.

This charming dog figure called Moka is a modular product design experiment built from simple geometric shapes. Moka was born as a test bed, a stepping stone toward a possible collection of limited-edition pieces. The final 3D printed piece stands at 30cm long, 15cm tall and 9cm wide, and the project also includes a short, dynamic promotional video that brings the figure to life.

With Moka, Emanuele is not only dipping his toes into product design but also showcasing how simplicity and experimentation can spark the beginnings of something much larger. It’s a promising start to what could be an exciting design series.
