Lego x Japanese Aesthetics: 3D Creations by Ruslan Tihomirow

Serbian digital artist and motion designer Ruslan Tihomirow created this playful series of 3D illustrations by transforming Lego minifigure heads with anime-like facial expressions.
But he didn’t stop at just changing their faces, he also played with proportions and used different materials and textures. By mixing the smooth plastic of Lego with unexpected elements like soft fabric and stretchy rubber, he created a collection that not only feels tactile and visually engaging but also captures the charm of Japanese character art.
